Hi - I won’t take Zometa or Xgeva
They can both result in Jaw death. I read a Case Study that indicated there was a higher risk when there’s been a SCT.

Zometa & Xgeva only build a thin shell around the bones. It leaves them brittle and does nothing to strengthen bones from the inside. Also they will not fill in lesions. They only build around the edge.

I had a very large lesion completely repaired. I’ve posted before, during and after images. The body can quickly heal a broken bone when we’re young. I provided the minerals and vitamins on-mass and when treatment killed my lesion cancer (in under a week), my body quickly repaired my lesion (in under 3 weeks)

I was being told to get Radiation. Radiation turns bone to stone. As dead stone, my lesion would have never healed

Dr Brandy recommends Strontium Citrate 680mg at night, 2 hours away from food.

From my Story @A MyMyelomaTeam Member, the section of “Prior to Treatment “ is a good roadmap to strengthen bones, regardless of MM or not.
Also, plenty of weight bearing exercises

“ The Repair of the Humerus Bone was due to very active Osteoblast regeneration of the Humerus Bone. This was possible once the Bone Tumor’s Cancer was killed off. During the weeks prior to starting Revlimid and Dex, I had been taking the following items.

For Bone Health:
Prior to treatment, I had been loading up on Vit D (moved from 38ng to 84ng - taking 10,000IU daily). Then plenty of Magnesium (400mg magnesium glycinate + 200mg magnesium citrate daily), Vit C (2000mg daily), Vit K2 (200mcg daily), Vit K (120mcg daily), Calcium Carbonate (1500mg - 2 TUMs daily), Strontium Citrate (680mg late at night - 2hrs away from any calcium intake).

The Proper Pre & Probiotics can help to create Butyrate in the colon, along with a healthy Plant Based Diet.

Butyrate is capable of restoring the proper balance of IL-17 activity that is normally disrupted by active MM. When IL-17 is restored, then the osteoblasts activity is available to perform bone regeneration, provided adequate amount of Minerals and Vitamins are available.

The Pro and Pre Biotics that I used are:
Pendulum Glucose Control - 2 pills daily - Probiotic
Microbiome MegaPre - one scoop daily in 16oz water – Prebiotic. “

Larry,
I totally agree. Medicine is still in the trial and error stage. The body is so complex. Only God could make something so complex even smart doctors can’t figure it out.

Do not know anything about Zometa but I use Xgeva. Works fine. No side effects. But expensive! $8200 per shot! A disgrace!
