- Pregabalin (Lyrica): Effective for some, especially for neuropathic pain.

- Corticosteroids: Reduce inflammation associated with neuropathy.
- Over-the-counter options: Tylenol and topical pain patches/creams like lidocaine.

I take Norco for my back pain. It takes care of most of my pain but not all. I also had the same vision issues. I had eye lid reduction a few years ago. It really helped. I don't need glasses as much. Only use non script sun glasses and drugstore readers now. Good luck. 😎

When the pain in my back hurts so bad I feel like crying, I take 2 ALEVE, because the two 500 mg of Tylenol does not work for me. I have to be in tears before I take it because it is bad for my kidneys. The low dose pain pills my PCP ordered is 300mg three times daily are useless. I don’t have arthritis (thankfully) but I do have neuropathy and back pain, the Tylenol does take care of my headaches. I have been developing issues with my sight. Blurry vision and my upper eyelids are blocking some of my vision also. It’s like looking out of a long dark cave or tunnel. I have to glare my eyes open to see properly. I have an eye appointment on Monday. Wow, probably way too much information. Hahahaha now you’re up to date with me. God Bless, “Teece”

I would like to know this too. On top of Myeloma I have arthritis in my knees, hips and lower back. I have also had blood clots in my luns, thanks to Covid. Since I take a blood thinner, there isn't a lot of options,

Hi Becky,
My oncologist gave me a script for Oxycodone 5 mg to take when pain was bad.
My neurosurgeon suggested Tylenol Extra Strength 500; worked as well as the Oxy. And,Tylenol doesn’t constipate you as Oxy does. Sometimes, neither works.

This is conversation to have with your dr if these don’t work to ease your pain.
I hope you feel better soon.
