Anyone Had Bispecifics?
I was in the hospital twice for observation. The longest stay was 5 days. I am now in remission again and go twice a month for treatments. If all goes well I will monthly beginning in July. Keep us posted on your CarT Cell procedure.
Betty , my mm specialist told me today
if I will have teclistamab I can't go for car t cell after , because 2 bispecifi can't take it before car t , I can take only telequwetamab before car t cell , but this one require a 10 days at hospital and bad side effects ,
So happy you are in remission Colleen! Monday I start the Talquetamab and hoping hospital stay will be 5 days. I live 3 1/2 hours from Moffitt so none of this is convenient is why I’m praying once I get car-t I will only have to make the trip every few months or my oncologist locally can follow me. The Florida cancer center does not do the talvey injections. They probably will in the future but doesn’t help me right now. Thanks for answers to all my questions I send you. I truly appreciate it 😊
Colleen- how long did you stay in the hospital? How many step-ups did they give you? And now once a week you are getting talquetamab, daratumumab (both injections?) and dexamethasne? Are all the side effects gone now? I’m with you with praying for a cure! Until then I guess we have to keep moving forward! Hope the car-t therapy i coming up soon for you. I love the idea of one and done!
I hope it works for you too. It has worked for me. I will probably have Car T cell therapy down the road.
