I think you ought to see a physician who is familiar with MM in order to rule out or treat.”You are Your Advocate”

To be honest my pain changes so much that I can't figure out what is actually a new pain issue or just something resurfacing. My thoracic area hurts alot but its not always from my T4 lesion but from how I sleep or how I do things that may cause upper body pain. Like Darlene I'm always doing too much or lifting something the wrong way or too heavy that used to not bother me. I'm having to reposition my body or take extra precautions to make sure I don't hurt or hurt myself. I scrubbed my shower about a month ago and I paid a costly price for that. All of the upper arm motions affected my whole left side of my body, I could barely move my arm for 2-3 weeks also affecting my breast muscles. All because I scrubbed my shower.. All I know is everything I used to do takes me 2x as long to do because I have to take extra precautions. I hope everyone tries to remember all these little things to make your days ahead a bit less tiring, painful and complicated.

I have it, too, but my primary doctor and my oncologist claim it is just arthritis. I think differently, but what do I know?! ;O)

Rib pain that radiated through my back and entire chest cavity is the ONLY symptom I had (started August 2023) ..... Insist on an MRI with contrast of the entire spine....that is how they found the mass on my thoracic spine which was MULTIPLE MYELOMA (November 19,2023).

Pam, I hope the MRI reveals the problem and you are able to get treated for it.
