Talvey is a bispecific T-cell engager. It consists of a genetically engineered protein, or antibody, that targets the GPRC5D protein on B cells — including myeloma cells — and the CD3 protein on T cells. Talvey works by prompting T cells to kill myeloma cells.
Administration:
- Talvey is given as a subcutaneous (under the skin) injection.
- It comes in a single-dose vial.
- The correct dosage schedule is determined by a doctor, and monitoring in the hospital may be required after initial doses.
