I've not heard of partial remission but that doesn't mean anything. I learn something new everyday on this site..Just so I understand, you have MM right?? And you still get chemo 3x a month, right?? Funny thing as I read countless comments about MM, I often see where the patient is not having treatment every week but more like every 2 month's. I also read that chemo by mouth is just as potent as chemo interveniously. It sounds like you are being treated interveniously. I said all that to say, I started MM treatment 1 year and 3 months ago. I am on 3 chemo drugs. Revlimid by mouth taken 21 days, off 7. I take a shot in my stomach Velcade every week. I take a new chemo drug recently added to my treatment plan, dexalar every week ( after relapsing 7 months into treatment). It too is a shot inserted in my stomach for 5 minutes. I also take Zometa infusion for bone loss. DO YOU know why or what determines when some chemo drugs are given interveniously and others not?? Also if I was in remission, I was never let lose. I still treated every week..I know this is not helping with your questions but hopefully it will help me and possibly someone else. Maybe others will read our comments and shed light on why treatments are rvery week even during remission and others treat every couple months.....
Thanks Karen

Probably yes. Partial remission means there is still disease present.

Judy no one ever responded to me. I have bouts of sleeping issues. I never know what the new day is to bring. Some weeks, I feel pretty darn great. Other weeks I'm sleepy and not motivated, lack of energy..

I'm curious Karen; did you get a reply? I am on Revlimed for 14 days off 7. I used to get a shot twice a month and am now off Velcade. I still have stomach upset with diarrhea and am sleepy all the time..They say I'm doing great but I don't feel that way; how about you?
Thanks, Judy
