I Was Diagnosed A Few Years Ago. I've Been Doing Pretty Well. I've Lost 20 Pounds Though Without Trying. Anyone Else Have This Happen?
I am so glad you are doing better 💕
hi Donna. I'm sorry for my late response. Regarding the vomiting, my kidneys were/are just perfect. My doctor also said vomiting isn't a sign of MM but c'mon, I NEVER had it before MM. I truly think my body, or God, was giving me a sign I couldn't ignore to get me to the doctor because, I would never had made an appointment! The vomiting was that bad and only in the evening just before bedtime.
Sheilah, so you have taken a bile salt sequestrant like Questran for your diarrhea? What about enzymes before and after meals? I'm just wondering if there is anything to help? I'm also curious about the vomiting? Were your kidneys being affected? Anyway, I'm really glad you are doing well, but I wish they could help your diarrhea 💖
My labs all look good. the only time they looked bad was 3 years ago when I was diagnosed. I recently had a PET/CT scan and there wasn’t anything there. Weight loss is probably due to chronic diarrhea…the things I am no longer embarrassed to talk about!!🤣… I’m on 10 mg of Revilmed daily and that can be the culprit. I wonder … did anyone suffer from violent vomitting prior to your diagnosis? I did … and it was like the worst food poisoning ever. During the last episode, I decided to see my doctor and that is when they found the MM.
Weight loss is a red flag according to my doctor. I lost 11 lbs because of diarrhea. I'm not sure why i have it, but they ordered tests.
Shipmates, Just Wondering If Anyone Is Back To Their Original Weight Before They Were Diagnosed With MM? Wishing You All A Blessed Day.
