Covid Treatment
I tested positive for Covid yesterday & treating the symptoms with over the counter meds. The nurse I spoke with said treating with Theraflu or Coricidin is just as effective as Paxlovid. I don’t know what to do. I will say yesterday was the height of my symptoms. I’m treating it with over the counter meds which so far I’m getting relief. I took Paxlovid (at reduced does due to kidney impairment) and overnight my Covid symptoms got better however I had digestive issue till finished with it. I definitely would take in again if I get Covid again
My doctor gave me an Rx for Paxlovid. So I would take it. I hope you have a mild case. 💗🙏
No digestive issues here, however, the Paxlovid seems to leave a Metallic taste in your mouth about 3 days in, but that goes away about 2 or 3 days after completing the Paxlovid.
Paxlovid did a lot except my ringing ears
