I'm on Pomilist now but they are slow to come back. Anyone else have this issue and how did you resolve it
Thanks.

I lost my sense of taste shortly after I started treatment, I've been in remission for over a year, I still like breakfast food bacon and I add spices to my sausage meat so I can taste it, right now I'm having issues trying to eat any other meat so I will fix a smoothie with a vanilla boost, frozen strawberries, tbls of peanut butter, half a banana add some protein or whey powder & some ice cubes and blend it's really good.

Sorry to hear about your issues with Revlimid. I was on it for several years and the only side effects I had was fatigue. I liked Revlimid because I didn’t have to get infusions but it quit working for me so now I am on Pomalst & monthly infusions of Darsalac (I probably spelled both of those wrong,) I lost my sense of taste from Covid. Similar symptoms to yours. I hate not being able to taste right! I particularly miss Red Wine. I loved going wine tasting and have a good collection of wines I use to love and now they all taste bitter and harsh. I hope we both get over this one day soon!

My taste buds are not good, I use a little hot sauce on my eggs, add a lot of garlic powder to my grits, have to have jelly or syrup on my toast, then I will have a smoothie for lunch and dinner. Have a wonderful rest of your day.

Maxine Mitchum ….I am on Zaralex-Pro snce last one year..I have got same problem..No taste …I like spicy food very much…I discussed with my Oncologist and he also recommends to it green chili (Green Paper)…..Beginning of treatment I used to take Valcade + Revelimid…for one and half year…After that instead of Revilimid..Started Pomolist…for another one and half year…No taste…

Bacon/pork is the one meat I can't taste. Are you able to taste veggies? I use low sodium chicken or veggie broth and add a bunch of frozen veggies, a handful of barley, a can each of black beans, garbanzos, Mrs Dash and whatever herbs and spices that are interesting. Sometimes I'll add Chinese red chili sauce and let the whole thing simmer until the barley is done.
Can you taste cheese or eggs? I'm not an egg lover but if I scramble them with onions, cheese and beef chorizo then roll it up in small tortillas they are fine. I make a lot and put them in the freezer. You could use the bacon or sausage.
