I had watched this MRD Video from Heathtree this morning. It's a good video covering old and new methods and the progress that's being made.

Can MRD Testing Be Used to Determine Multiple Myeloma Therapy Changes?
Jeanette, The Healthree Foundation has a great article on MRD and the different risks
Yes, we can change from standard risk to higher risk at relapse. But some of the higher risk genetics can be overcome with the right treatment💜

Patricia7 has posted a List that has them and their Levels of Standard, Medium and High.

As per a her Posting:
"mSmart 2.0 Risk : Classification of Active Myeloma

Standard Risk
(Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators)
+ all trisomies

Intermediate Risk
t(4 14)
1 q gain

High Risk
14 16
14 20
DEL 17p
GEP high risk signature"

Then its possible to have two or three of the above all at the same time. Have two or more does increase the Risk, but I'm not sure to what degree.

When a person achieves MRD Negative at 10 -6 (no cancer per million cells tested), having one Risk factor is of minor consequence, according the Study Reports and Charts at the clonoSEQ Site.

According to the MRD-SURE Study, achieving 10 -6 makes it viable for a person to be Monitored without the continuation of MM Meds when there's 0 or 1 Risk Factor (Standard, Intermediate, or High).

There are different translocations, some are high-risk, and others are not
For instance, translocation of 11/14 is one of the most common and more benign genetic translocations
