I lost weight as one of my symptoms and now put back on another 20 lbs. Try drinking lots of water. It helps me not be as hungry and it’s good for you

Yeah it's tough, I take 20mg once a week. For about 2 days afterwards I want to eat everything in sight. I just started on a mission to lose about 20 pounds. I'm going to track my calories every day and step up the exercise. Here's hopping.

Greetings from Alaska I walk just about every morning and I took two extra strength Tylenol before I head out because my back always hurts today I forgot to take them so I had to cut my walk short. Hopefully that will help you be able to get a few more steps in.

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member, thanks for your input Paul. I feel the the same way for a couple of days, and then the damage is done. Although my weight has held steady at 220. Before diagnosis I was at 190. My wardrobe is down to stretch pants and big shirts🤷🏽‍♀️

I have lost about 20 pounds since starting dex. A radical change to very healthy eating has helped my body fight MM. In the past, I drank excessive amounts of diet Dr. Pepper (as in 100-120 oz a day! Yes, I knew I was in trouble the day the gas station attendant told me I needed to cut back!), ate lots of fast and processed food, and lots of high fat, high sugar snacks. I cut out all soda, eliminated as much processed food as possible, eat more nuts and beans, no read meat, fish once a week, chicken about twice a month, and I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. I miss all the junk food, but I feel better, my MM is going down, and I have lost some weight so I will keep on fighting!
