Multiple Myeloma In Relapse?
Any Team Members experience multiple myeloma relapse can explain?
Dear MAD,
I have been classified as in remission at complete continuous response now for over 4 years. My blood lab results have shown above the upper control limits of light chains and other abnormal results, but are quite statistically consistent. I have not had any bone issues, back pain, lesions. My Multiple Myeloma Specialist has explained that there has been no progression , is lazy ,and is indolent . I am on maintenance Revlimid and often revisit side effects from my medication. However, no increase in symptoms of Multiple Myeloma. I am waiting for the very active and dedicated Research and Development community to find a lasting cure. There are so many new treatments coming out that have helped so many patients. I focus on actions I can take to maintain my level of remission and a quality of life. I have gratitude for those things I am able to enjoy which is the most important thing to do. I waste little time on fear and anxiety. Faith, hope and optimism improve my life. Trust me that I have to fight off symptoms of my medication and the Multiple Myeloma, but however long it takes my efforts eventually improve my condition. Hang in there, persevere, never give up, never quit. 🙏
Today I have seen my Haematology Doctor and my blood results not looking good, maybe there are chances of relapse. This makes me feel down and very concerned.
I will doing the Pat Scan and blood test another week to see the latest results and maybe will do another treatment for relapse.
So I got to be prepared and pray hard for the coming weeks 😩😩
My Mm was considered aggressive and I relapsed fall of 2023. I’m once again in remisssion and in a clinical trial for the past year.
Best advice regarding myeloma I have ever heard🥰
Call the plumber please. No one should control others with anger. Especially over a toilet 🫣
