Do You Make Your MM Decisions Based On Quality Or Quantity Of Life?
Quality creates Quantity
At this stage of my journey it’s definitely quantity of life for me. I’m in a good place right now with this disease But not to say that won’t change in the future. If the disease progresses unfavorably it will be quality of life for sure. I think my positive attitude, passion for life and love plus faith are a driving factor right now.
Hi Janet, faith is very important in our battle.

I'm actually discussing this with my oncologist as the balance I need. Not one over the other.
I'd like to live longer but not at the cost of quality of life.
So until I have no options for treatment left, I'd like to fight back with what's available but within reason.
Example: I'm on Sarclisa once a week, Dex steroid and Pomalyst 2mg - 21 days on 7 days off, but the Pomalyst is difficult for my body to endure so I take days off in-between. It's what I have to do to find a balance.
Great question Rick.
What's your opinion regarding?
Very good question. Right now my treatments give me minimal side effects. I have been on the same treatments for a long time. I only have to go in once a month. I try not to think about going through a relapse and having to start a new treatment. I hope and pray that doctors and big pharmacy take in our lifestyles as they develop these new drugs and treatments.
Am I “giving Up” By Choosing Quality Of Life Over Longevity?
It Looks Like That The Medications Are All Really Bad For People Wi MM . It Appears That The Best Thing Is Not Taking Any Medication For MM
