Why is my pulse rate high for a few days after my kyprolis and dexamethasone or on days I add Sarclisa my resting heart rate goes from 60-89

My pulse and blood pressure went up on Kyprolis. I got a blood pressure cuff. I took my pulse and blood pressure every day at home and recorded it for my doctor . We don't want more issues than we already have. I wasn't on Kyprolis very long.

Mine did the same thing. My doctor took me off of it. Kyprolis is hard on the heart as well as all of our organs

Carfilzomib, in particular, has been shown to cause a higher risk of cardiac events, including heart damage, arrhythmia, and heart failure. Adding Sarclisa (isatuximab-irfc) to your regimen may also contribute to these effects, as it can cause infusion-related reactions and other side effects.

If you experience a significant increase in your resting heart rate, it's important to discuss this with your healthcare provider to ensure proper management and monitoring.
