What Are Your Thoughts On Covid Vaccinations? I Didn't Have Them Prior To Diagnosis...but My Doctor Is Pushing It Now...
I follow my doctors advice
I get the flu and COVID vaccines in September now. I get them separately, as it would be too hard on my system to get them both at the same time.
I always joke that when you have MM, someone is always chasing you around with a needle. Our family contracted COVID after I had 2 (maybe 3) of the vaccines. The symptoms were similar to having bronchitis, and I managed without an antiviral. None of the jabs are fun, but I recommend them. Take care. ♥️
My husband, myself and my brother have had all the covid shots; my husb. got covid but was okay, although he was down for a week with tiredness; I only had it for 3 days and didnt bother me, just tired also; my brother who is the one with MM didn't get covid at all, even living with us...God bless him.. We stayed home a lot more than usual last winter, wore a mask when going to hosp. or out a lot , we'd had the flu shot and none of us got sick with it..will do again this year, esp. for my brother's sake.
My oncologist and MM Specialist recommended Covid vaccines, RSV and flu shots. I had Covid once that was very mild. None of the vaccines created any issues. Risk/reward .
My oncologist recommends I stay up to date with Covid shots, since my white count is always low and I am immunocompromised from the MM. I usually follow her advice.
Have Most Of You Gotten Your Flu, Pneumonia, RSV, Covid Vaccines. My Oncologist Has Not Mentioned Getting Any Of These? A Bit Surprised!
Is It Ok To Have More Than One Vaccination At A Time; They Won't Counteract Each Other?
RSV Shot; Any Adverse Effects?
