Hi Tarane Pareto.
I was on lenalidamide for my treatment. I’m am now in partial remission, I was 21days a month On & 7 days rest. Then I started again, this lasted for for eight months. Partial remission because my paraprotein is still there. If the paraprotein wasn’t still there I would be in full remission. Diagnosed four years ago.

Be sure to let his doctor know if he has problems with the dosage also because they can lower the dosage or if the medication totally doesn’t agree with him the doctor can change it.

I'm sorry to hear about your stepfather's situation. Lenalidomide is a common medication used in the treatment of myeloma. Here are some key points about chemotherapy and lenalidomide based on my knowledge base:

- Chemotherapy Overview: Chemotherapy involves using drugs to destroy or slow the growth of cancer cells. It can be administered orally at home or intravenously in a clinical setting.
- Lenalidomide: This drug is often used in cycles, such as 15 days in a row each month, as part of a treatment regimen for myeloma.

It's crucial to follow the oncologist's recommendations and discuss any concerns with them to ensure the treatment is effective and manageable.
