This Looks Like Good News

Thanks for this information and providing a link to the article. So some quick research by myself:
Sarclisa (isatuximab) is a monoclonal antibody therapy developed by Sanofi to treat myeloma. Sarclisa targets the CD38 protein present on myeloma cells and promotes their death.
AND
The decision makes Sarclisa the first anti-CD38 therapy in combination with the standard VRd regimen to be approved for newly diagnosed patients who are ineligible for an autologous stem cell transplant. While another anti-CD38 therapy, called Darzalex, is also approved for this indication, it is used with other treatment combinations but not with VRd.
This statement is not true. Darzalex IS now being used with VRd for induction therapy.
It appears this is very similar to the use of Darzalex for front line induction therapy. They also mention the use of Sarclisa for relapsed and refractory MM. it appears the MM community has confidence in both of these drugs that they will not cause major side effects or inhibit the functionality of VRd and are adding these drugs into induction therapy.
Hi Ripnlips, just another tool in our toolbox in this fight for our lives.
Hi Rick this Looks very promising and great. It is back by FDA!
