That answer is logical it makes the most sense that I’ve heard thanks the waiting game is only making the smm progress to MM, throw the kitchen sink of supplements diet and exercise at it for 3 months if it’s still progressing as a trend, then throw the kitchen sink at it or at least some low dose options but do something or just forget about it and go for a walk in the woods, play in the garden, get lost in the woods with your dog, ‘I’d rather be lost in the woods than found at home’ is being inscribed on my headstone…im ok with that, not ok with all the gloom and doom and pain and suffering that is inevitable, where is my Queen of Hope! 😇

Since a normal percentage of plasma cells in the marrow is 2-4%, the remaining 56% are likely proliferation of cancer cells. There are studies underway to see if treatment MM while in the smoldering phase increases OS, and I believe the results are changing many oncologists' perspective on when to treat.

I’ve read all the articles, they r unclear on this issue, on the one hand they say precancerous, which means not malignant to the lay patient, on the other hand, the SMM article and others, reference ‘bad cell plasma’ as mailignant. It is clear as mudd…it’s a growing bad cell in the e marrow, to me, that is malignant but they say it’s not ‘cancer’ until ur at 60 % ‘bad cell plasma’
