People have to enjoy life as much as possible. I have MM since 2020. I wash my hands frequently and if I am going to be in a large crowd, I wear a mask. Despite all precautions, my wife and I both had Covid recently which took 3 weeks to get over. We travel quite a bit still. I am 83.

Paul, I don't know if a mask would be awkward, but you could isolate yourself in another room when you return, and she could just place food at the door for however days appropriate.
I wish I had done that when my husband developed a cough. He got RSV and gave it to me. Although he's the one with the MM, but no maintenance, I'm the one who got very sick with a sinus and ear infection, along with the RSV.
Anyways, I think isolation upon return could work. The best to you.....Ava

You go. And just take good care of yourself, everything will be fine. Especially since you are more aware than the person I live with. My husband attends many events and travels, comes home and isn’t very cautious. It does 100% scare me and I bitch a lot. I talk more to God asking for him to protect me and as my doctor tells me β€œlive”

All someone has to do is SAY Covid and I get it, or any other flu for that matter.
It takes me weeks to get over it too Harry3.
I try to stay clear of large indoor gatherings and friends and family that are sick.
Wear masks @A MyMyelomaTeam Member . Most people understand why others need some protection.
Enjoy!!

I say the same Paul go and enjoy. Just be cautious if you want. John and I go shopping together and to family reunions and anniversary parties so far it's working out real good he hasn't been sick at all this time around but we always wash our hands and if we know someone is sick stay away I even had covid this winter and he never caught it!!! I was so shocked I called him crying saying I'd go stay at my parents house. πŸ˜† He told me to stop it and get home. So yeah sometimes we just gotta throw caution to the wind a little tiny bit... I wanna know how much fun you had!
