Gabapentin work good for me. 900MG daily. I had to stop due to kidney disease. I am now taking amitryotiline 25 MG at night. Stop the burning and most tingling but it doesn’t stop the numbness in my feet. I hope this helps.

Shipmates I took 300mg. Of Gabapentin for the tingling in my foot. My face turn beet red and very warm to touch. I felt like I had hot flashes. I stopped taking it.
Has anyone else had this effect? Thanks and enjoy your day.

I was on Gabapentin for a few years, and it worked very well with no side effects. I was taking 900MG a day. The first week I took it at night in case it made me sleepy then after that I took 300MG 3 times a day. I had to stop taking it once I started dialysis. I am not taking Amitriptyline 25 MG. This drug does make you sleepy, so my doctor asked me to only take it for bedtime. I fall asleep before the drug kicks in so I don't know if it makes me sleepy or not to be honest with you. I hope this helps.
