MRD Negative and no Maintenance Meds

Very good Labs. Just tested my Natural Killer Cells - 17%, up from 11% last Aug during an active bone lesion

Short term Revlimid & Dex killed off the lesion and stopped everything within 3 months of starting

This was a second event from my original treatment in 2021. The lesion was known and dormant. When it became active I had been off all MM meds for 15 months. New treatment resulted in the lesion repair almost immediately - cancer destroyed in a week and humerus repaired in 3 weeks - no radiation or surgery

Hi Greg,
I am on Revlimid for 21 days and 7 days off each month. I have been on maintenance for over 3 1/2 years . I have a local cancer center oncologist review my lab blood draw results every 3 months and a MM Specialist review of blood draw lab results every 6 months. I take Xgeva shots every 3 months.

Hi Lesley, Yes - Of course, I believe you already are. I have my Settings that for anyone that adds me, I auto-add in return.

Hi Paula - I only wish they would consider a Less is Best approach but it’s very unlikely

For all my detail documentation all I can get them to say is - “I don’t understand but it’s good news”

There’s too much profit motive to plenty of their involvement. In 2021, when my first Onc wouldn’t give me DarzFasPro and I let them know I was changing Oncs, the office manager begged me to stay, saying “if we can get you DarzFasPro, would I stay”.

Back then I said No - it’s been too much of a struggle to get the med.

Now, looking at my Medicare bills - I’ve seen that my current Onc bills Medicare $8,800 per shot, as their discounted price allowed.

Back in 2021 - my Induction and 3 months maintenance was around $150K billed to Medicare for just the DarzFasPro portion of my treatment

Larry,
I never tire of hearing your miraculous story. I hope all MM Oncologists hear about your story and think about new treatment guidelines.
