My experience with foamy urine in January 2024 turned out to be related to high calcium levels most likely from my MM. I respectfully suggest having it checked out.

Foamy urine can be a symptom of kidney issues, which is particularly relevant in the context of multiple myeloma. This symptom might indicate the presence of protein in the urine, which can occur when the kidneys are not functioning properly. In multiple myeloma, kidney function can be compromised due to the effects of the disease on the kidneys, such as cast nephropathy, where obstructions in the kidney tubules are caused by the aggregation of filtered free light chains or plasma cell proteins. It's important for individuals experiencing this symptom to consult with their healthcare provider for appropriate evaluation and management.
