What Are My Options When SMM High Risk Relapses After Having Been VGPR (Very Good Partial Remission) For Several Months

A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

SMM High risk, was on Revlimid for almost 3 years then off of it, then VGPR for 3+ months now blood tests show Myeloma is active again. Am 76 years old, have had major heart attack, stroke and pulmonary embolism twice all within last 8 years. Does this make me ineligible for transplant?

Probably, but your doctor is the best person to ask. I have a heart condition and collapsed areas of my left lung. I have SMM t(14;16). I read everything about MM and watch lectures. The doctors are now saying treatments are working as good or better than SCT.
