Hi Bill,
What did you decide to do? I have been grappling with the same question. I am Smoldering now, but I never know when that will change. I see my Oncologist in 2 weeks. One of the things they talk about in favor of treatment, is preserving organ function. My creatine is above normal. Have you been diagnosed with MM?

I chose to follow my oncology suggestions for treatment and do not regret it. Took meds for about 10 months before remission. There are side effects but as I get older (80), I realize I'm going to have some of the same effects as my body ages. Think seriously about what your doctor recommends. Wishing you the best. The Myeloma team is very supportive and encouraging.
