I've Had My Stem Cell Since May 2021. I'm In Remission So Far. Question,, How Can You Tell If This MM Cancer Tries To Come Back??
Hi Captaintyy1. Such a good question and I'm interested to know also. I had my stem cell transplant in May 2021 also, also in remission, but take revlimid 21 days on, 7 days off. Can be a rough medication at times. Blood work every 4 weeks and numbers remain stable. I feel great most days, work full time, occasional fatigue, but I do a lot. Some back pain but I had a collapsed vertebrae in 2020. According to my oncologist, I'm doing well. My prayer is I continue to do so. I pray the same for you and all fighting this disease. I can't wait to see the responses to your question. Have a blessed night.
I'm actually doing pretty good. I can take that revlimind ,, it breaks me out! I take Ninlaro 3mg which make me tired, I take it once a week. I'm actually not working, I had to stop in 2020 because of this! I pray everybody take their medicine and keep their appointments!! Blessings 😇
It will show up in your lab work in your follow-up appointments. Make it a point NOT to miss any of the appointments. IF you start to feel any fatigue and total lack of energy. Call your oncologist and report it. They will get you in for labs asap. Good luck and God Bless, “Teece “
It depends on the type of myeloma that you have. Your kidney numbers may change, your light chains ratio may change, your m protein number may rise. Only some of the examples that the specialists look at.
There is actually an article about this in “Resources” at the top of the page.💕
