Wendell, my two collapsed vertebrae caused the worst back pain I could imagine. I had no idea I had MM for almost four months and those months were so hard.

I had kyfoplasty along with spine jacks inserted in the vertebrae and I am pain free. My muscles get tired and hurt me some but that is getting better with strengthening and stretching.

I pray you get relief!

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member, 50. I had back pain so severe I couldn't breathe. When I couldn't take it any longer, after about 10 weeks, I went to the ER. That qas the beginning of me being diagnosed. I had 8 fractures in my back, and 6 fractured ribs. The worst 2 months of pain I ever experienced. I could barely walk and had to sleep in a recliner. The spasms is what was the worse. If you are or anyone is experiencing this, I pray for immediate healing or get a vertebroplasty if it isn't too late. As a nurse, I witnessed the success of this procedure when done in time. God bless.

This was the worst pain I ever experienced. It was continuous, with very little relief. Once I was diagnosed and placed on pain management, I felt hopeful and was able to focus on my MM care plan.

Cohofly yeah I go too my chiropractor for acupuncture which helps for awhile and I also use A535 cream for heating up the muscles plus I have a vibrator that helps massages the muscles. I also bought a memory foam seat cushion too sit on because my tail bone is still sore from my fall last month.

Greetings from Alaska I purchased a nice silicone seat cushion from Amazon. I use it to drive and on the plane and I have one in my house because sitting in a regular chair causes me great pain. I had a burst fracture at L2. At night when I lay down, I use Aspercreme to give me some relief around my muscles as my body starts to relax my spine pops just adjust itself which also causes pain. Once a week I go to acupuncture to try to alleviate that type of pain when the muscle relax. I wishing you well , and God bless you.
