Hi Donna,
It is common to be stressed upon diagnosis of Kappa light chain Multiple Myeloma so I started about 6 weeks after my nephrologist diagnosed me which consisted of getting the process going from oncologist , orientations , and cancer treatment infusions. My symptoms were not really apparent, but I was anxious to kill the cancer ASAP . I started a protocol of RVD. Many on MyMyelomaTeam have similar lengths of time although there are so many different symptoms ,protocols ,and journeys. Best wishes for your success. 🙏

Once my husband was diagnosed he started treatment within the first month. He had Revlimid, Velcade and Dexamethazone.
