That’s kinda how I was diagnosed. Tweaked my back and had severe pain down my arm. Thought maybe I had a rib out of place so went to a chiropractor who DID NOT do an MRI. I then went to the ER a week late due to the pain. They did MRIs and then sent me to another ER in our area to meet with a radiologist oncologist and a spine doctor. Then I was admitted for a few days. I met with the oncologist a week after I was released and was told about multiple myeloma.

I was 67 when I was diagnosed following acute back pain caused by 2 fractured vertebrae whereas I participate in gym classes 3x a week. This prompted an MRI to be done wh revealed MM 😏

I thought older, however I’m 59. Was diagnosed in January 2024 two weeks after I turned 59.
