Is Anyone On Dexamethasone Only For Maintenance ?

A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

If so, for how long and much and how frequently?
If something additional - how little of what?

Thanks

Hi Robert - My t4;14 is also medium. For myself, I have no intention living on Maintenance Meds permanently. I'm very confident that a Plant Based Diet, no Heme-iron from animal products, plenty of exercise, and some Key Supplements will take care of me without long term use of MM Meds.

I'm working on an Update to my Story to explain all of this.

Ask for more medication. I’m working for $$$ commission. Others are working for Jeffrey Epstein gang.

Take a look at Daily Strontium Citrate - 680mg at night. Must be at least 2 hours away from any calcium intake. I just make sure I take it 2+ hours after all food.

Dr. Brandy was Diag with MM 6 years ago. Had bad osteo. Strontium Citrate increased his bone density by 8% in six months. He's continued with Revlimid 10mg 21/7 and Dex 12mg weekly for 6 years, with daily Strontium Citrate and he has no osteo issues. Plenty of daily exercising (quite strong for 70).

He's just know phasing out Revlimid and Dex over the next few months. Perfect Labs - Doc says he's done and no further need.

I use his Cancer Coaching and Email Support Services. Very happy with his Ebook, his Support and his in-depth knowledge about Plant Based and our Health being a big part of our Defense against MM.

I just recovered from a very bad Bone Cancer Lesion. Results are amazing. I carefully Documented all of it with Full Weekly Labs and Imaging through the entire Event. When I Zoom met with my Bone Cancer Specialist he commented on my Daily Routine and my Use of Strontium Citrate being important to my Results. I'll be updating my Story will all of this recent Info., either later today or tomorrow.

Plenty of what I learnt was from the FB Forum - BEATING MULTIPLE MYELOMA WITH A NATUROPATHIC APPROACH. Very helpful Posts that provided really important info.

I took Dex for 13 months. Thankfully, my Dr. took me off it and I only take 10mg of lenalidomide for maintenance. Weaning myself off Dex was rough. I had terrible hives on my face for a while and I was exhausted all the time. I still nap almost every afternoon. I was happy that I dropped all the Dex weight (especially in the face and neck) Dexamethasone has caused me to have advanced osteoporosis. My Endocrinologist told me 'Dex eats the bone' My recent oral surgery complicates when I can start taking certain Osteo medications. Dex has also contributed to me having compression fractures of the lumbar spine which was the most excruciating pain I've ever experienced from April to August of this year. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend taking Dex for the shortest amount of time possible. I applaud those folks who have a Dr. that only had them on Dex for the first four months.

It's been recommended to me by Dr Dominic Brandy (I use his Cancer Coaching Services) for the night of taking Dex to get -

lorazepam 2mg, melatonin 24mg sublingual (Carlyle brand), CBD oil 1cc (Equilibra brand…myeq.com), and lunesta 2mg.

He says its only required once a week, the day of Dex and it helps to make sure I can get a full 8 hours of sleep that day. He's been doing this for 6 years, from when he was Diag with MM in 2017.
