I really hope that your life expectancy is good. If you have smouldering multiple myeloma you may still have many good years ahead of you. Hopefully you get lots of caring support from the people around. But don't live in fear while there is life there is hope. Believe in yourself and anything can be possible. A life well lived is always a good life.

My husband's dr did not give us any time frame but said that there are those that live 20-30 years with it. But everyone is different. I have been told about those that some of our friends know that have lived 30 years so that is our goal as my husband is just 53.

My MM coach has lived with MM for over 29 yrs. He's been off of chemo for most of that time. He has been through the 90's treatment and act and I think, 2 relapses. So whatever he is doing works for him ( alternative supplementals and exercise. Anyway he is very down to Earth and doesn't push any product. I trust him
