Has Anyone Opted To Come Off The Wait List For CAR-T Treatment And Begin The Tecvayli Injections Instead?
Two years after my stem cell transplant, my Multiple Myeloma relapsed. In January 2023, I was put on a "wait list" to receive CAR-T treatment. After 6 months on the waiting list, my myeloma symptoms were getting pretty severe. My M-Spike numbers were increasing rapidly. Began Tecvalyli the first week of May 2023. The first doses are given at the hospital. My M-Spike number went down a point after the first full dose and has continued to come down. I have an injection at my local cancer clinic once a week. Side effects last about 30 hours. We are located in southeastern Washington - the clinic is in Kennewick Washington.
We do not know the cost of Tecvayli. It will likely vary with different insurance coverages.

Hoping for good results for you! How long have you been on Tecvayli? My husband’s numbers are coming up after the second remission…wondering about this drug in the future? Where (Dr office or hospital) and how often do you take injections??? Any severe reactions? Dr is talking about Ninlaro next for my husband!
