A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was wondering was people's experience has been with CAR-T Therapy. It is something I need to consider at this point. How long might you have been off work? Experience with the success of this treatment? Thanks as always, Todd

Hello Todd, my docs are pushing for CAR-t for me as well, but I'm not sold on it at all at this point. I did an ASCT in August - September 2022. In my research I've read that some docs recommend chemo as part of at CAR-t, some do not. I think being off work or otherwise in the hospital will depend on that. On some websites, hospitals mention that a CAR-t can be outpatient if there's no chemo.

I know there are people here who have been through it in the past, so I hope they comment.
