Maintenance Supply Of Revlimid

A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

My meeting with Dana Farber in Boston went well. Looks like I won’t hit full remission after 8 blocks of treatment. But I did achieve very good partial response (VGPR). Which is where I was also was at the end of the 4 blocks of treatment. In maintenance we’ll drop the Dex, move Valcade to every other week and keep Revlimid on a 14 day cycle at 10mg. If the numbers start climbing again, we’ll be adding daratumumab to the mix.

My only concern is planning around vacations and events as Revlimidread more

A supply of 21 pills is for a 28 day cycle. You need to have 7 days off for your vitals like platelets and others to have time to recover. Revlimid and all cancer meds knock down your vitals. Having a break allows your body to recover enough before you start the next cycle. When I was on Induction I got Revlimid for 14 days and 7 days off. When I changed to Maintenance it was 21 days On and 7 days off. Induction was at 25mg daily while Maintenance was 10mg daily. We had just changed to Revlimid at 5mg daily for my next cycle but my clonoSEQ MRD test showed I was Negative (zero cancer cells per million tested) and with no MSpike - so we stopped all Maintenance MM Meds (as per the MRD-SURE Study). I’m now 13 months off All MM and related support Meds.

Hi Jamie.
I am on maintenance Revlimid (10 mg. 28 day cycle. I am in full remission (16 months post STC).
I have Revlimid sent to my local CVS after missing 2 early deliveries at my home. I would highly recommend you have it shipped to pharmacy and perhaps call pharmacy to confirm they will do this.

Hope you are able to plan for a great vacation.

Best?

Rick

I have my Revlimid delivered to my local CVS pharmacy. They sign for it and I have not had a problem with this. I'm on a 21 day supply cycle with 7 days off. 😻

What doctor do you see at Dana? I am on 21 day on 7 day off. I have my Revlimid delivered to my local 24 hour CVS. So far no problem.
