Does anyone take turkey tail mushroom supplements for mm. My palliative care doc takes it for his cancer and said it may be beneficial to me. I’ve been taking it for a while and I seem to have some tummy distress. What’s your experience

Speaking just for myself, the approach I take is to always talk to my doctor about any supplement, "natural" or otherwise. I don't want anything to interfere with the meds I'm taking, which are doing a good job. Even natural/herbal remedies can react badly with a drug or hinder the work that drug is doing.

I started taking Host Defense turkey tail mushroom and Dr Beckers BioNutrients mushroom complex and cordyceps mushroom supplements and have noticed a great improvement in my back pain and I noticed a rise in my energy level and just an all around better feeling easier to move when before I was slow did not have hardly any energy and when I did move it hurt so bad I just wanted to stay in bed.

Japan Asia and China have approved these mushrooms and they are used along with chemo treatments to lessen side effects and now I can see why.

I have been taking it for years. Not sure if it really helps but my MM dr is ok with it and my naturopathic dr wants me to take it.

I have no expeience with it, but ask your doctor if there's some kind of digestive enzyme you can take to relieve you stomach distress

I haven't tried it yet. What type of cancer does the doctor have?
