Diagnosed 11/20 with mm. Started with velcade, Revlamid and deci something. SCT in 6/21. Went back on revlamid for maintenance. After about 3 months switched to velcade every 2 weeks because of severe diarrhea and weight loss. I was miserable. Been doing ok on velcade, usual rash and not feeling to great for one week. Second week was better. But now I don’t feel good at all. Since before Christmas. Skipped my shot two weeks ago because I wasn’t feeling good. I still have been sick even though I… read more

Thank you. Just saw my oncologist. She decided it would be best for me to stop the treatment. She said since I’ve been on it for a whole year and my numbers have been really good, she said I would be fine, they will monitor me every three months and I should focus on the melanoma on my arm.
Thank you for your help. I appreciate it!

Yes can be a roller coaster at times. Feel great for weeks and bam, don't want to get up. One thing I notice eat and snack all day, seems to help. Even when don't feel like it EAT or at least drink a good protein shake**

My eyes are also messed up! I was diagnosed with blepharitis. My eyes water a lot and I also get post nasal drip and dripping down my throat. Eye dr. recommended washing with an eye wash twice a day and applying bacitracine to my eyes twice a day. No huge breakouts, but my eyes are always red and itchy. not supposed to wear eye makeup. Hasn't improved much in the two months I've been off velcade. Sending you good wishes!
