I don't know about curable but after being diagnosed stage 3 with 90%+ involvement in my marrow, I was just deemed sCR! that means not only can the cancer not be detected but the genetic defect that lead to it cannot be detected! Very deep remission or possibly cured. 🤔

I know the longer we live the closer we come to curing cancer! I was fortunate enough to have been treated with the ABECMA CARR-T-CELL TRANSPLANT! In a few months, I was declared in COMPLETE REMISSION, and was also declared CANCER FREE! Praise GOD!
We are experiencing miracles everyday, cures are just around the corner! Please, keep the faith and keep the HOPE which is alive in JESUS CHRIST!

MM is not curable, but it is treatable.

I was told by my oncologist that MM is not curable, but treatable. I had all the treatments, SCT, IV infusions, pills, hair loss. I'm now at the point where I don't take any medications and I get a blood test every 3 months. However after my last blood test my oncologists wants to see me. My appt is in 2 weeks. I'm trying not to worry about it, I have enough "leftover" stem cells stored from my SCT if it turns out I need another one, but I'm hoping I don't.
