Has Anyone Experienced Anxiety From Revlimid? I Just Started 15mgs 4 Days Ago. I Seem More Edgy And Restless.
Anxiety, depression, neuropathy, skin rashes, diarrhea, fatigue, and unusual or disrupted sleep patterns are all side effects to Revlimid. It's no day at the beach. You may find yourself more edgy or emotional at times as well. Learning to accept or control these side effects is a constant challenge. Not trying to frighten or scare you, but this will require great awareness from you and quite frankly some patience and understanding by your family or friends. Try to stay positive, and hang in there, you are not alone in this very challenging battle.
Hi Kristin,
I have experienced many side effects from Revlimid during both treatments ,and now maintenance none of which I felt personally caused anxiety. However, side effects of both MM and treatments can cause anxiety as they can be stressful over time. The MM journey can be a challenge of endurance , patience and strength to overcome issues. Adaptation consisting of disciplined regimen of diet, exercise to your capability, a positive attitude, hope , faith and belief things will get better eventually lead to a more successful outcome. Hang in there.
🙏
if you want to get rid of anxiety in any part of your life - take this course - "Unwinding Anxiety" with Jud Brewer and his team at Brown. It s a app for your phone and thru a variety of meditation practices - you will be able to get rid of your anxiety. I took it when I first came down with MM last year and I have no more anxiety - my wife is also taking it now - and she told her nurse at the Chiropractor "It's the best gift he's even given me".. Good Luck - cost for a year I believe is still 209.00
I was treated with Revlimid where I was diagnosed with MM in 2012 , I wasn’t able to sleep and I developed Neuropathy in my legs and one hand, it is very painful, I took Lyrica and then Gabapentin, now I don’t take medications if it hurts a lot I just take Tylenol.
I hope you feel better, take care ❤️
