Darzalex
I start this med tomorrow I'm so scared. I'm out of remission so dr said they will use this. Any comments from someone who had this med
Darzalex, kyprolis, decadron DKD, was the fourth combo they tried on my son. He had minimal results with the 3 previous protocols. This one finally got results and he is now able to have his SCT. No major side effects except very tired. He had a big reaction first does, they gave him mega Benadryl which handled it. No reaction to the rest of the times he received it and heβs down to monthly.
My husband gets an injection of the Darzalex- takes about 10-15 minutes to put in & sits for 15 minutes to watch him for a reaction.
Good luck! Seems to be doing the job for him so far.
My husband is on the Darzalex, Dex & Pomalyst. Did a couple sessions once a week & now finishing his 1st treatment of session 2 which is every other week.
He tolerates it much better than Revlamid. Gives him more time for himself instead if spending so much time at the Cancer Center.
Good luck!!
Gail, hoping you do well this time. Do you get the Darzalex Faspro subcutaneous??? Suppose to be less chance of a reaction. Hoping you have someone near by, just in caseππππ
Darzalex put me into remission 4 1/2 years after diagnosis. Sounds good to me!
