Danadd22, do you have any friends or family that will let you stay with them? Tell your dr. They may have some connections. Contact the American cancer society. Contact the

(Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators). Call the multiple myeloma support

There is also an African American myeloma support
I don’t have the number but I googled it. They have financial support as well.

I hope you find a place to stay. Keep up your treatment. Your kids need you. Can their father help?

I will pray for you. Keep me posted. 🙏🙏🙏❤️

- Medicare
- Medicaid
- Veterans Affairs health care
- Individual health insurance through the marketplace
- Job-based health insurance

- Financial Assistance Programs: If you do not have health insurance, or if you have insurance but need further support, you may find resources within your state to help cover medication costs. Some of the programs available include:
- Medicare Savings Programs
- Medicare Extra Help
- State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs
- Patient Access Network Foundation
- The HealthWell Foundation

- Consult a Social Worker or Financial Counselor: Oncology social workers and financial counselors can help connect you with financial aid programs you may be eligible for and offer tips for saving money on medical bills. They will also know of local city and county-based medical aid options for people with a low income and those who are uninsured. Most hospitals and clinics have social workers and financial counselors on staff.

- Patient Advocate Foundation: This organization can help you find financial support you may be eligible for and assist with health insurance claims.

- American Cancer Society: Offers a guide to help you understand your medical insurance and the terms often used.

If you need further assistance, consider reaching out to your oncology health care team to speak with someone in your hospital’s billing department. They may be able to help you apply for financial assistance or a payment plan to ease the burden.
