Clinical Trials
I,m very interested in clinical trials as Car-T cell immunotherapy for MM patients and also for Dendritic cell Therapy
I am currently in clinical trial S1803 and just started cycle 4. the study is for Post SCT maintenance therapy using the gold standard Lenalidomide vs Lenalidomide and Daratumumab/rHuPH20. It just happened to be conducted by Kaiser SW Oncology Group which is my insurer and kept me local to home for the study. I am required to have labs once a month along with a Doc visit, fill out questionnaires, and for me being randomly selected to the Lenalidomide only group take the goods once a day. Yearly will be a Bone Marrow Biop ( not my favorite thing to do ). Then at the end of two years depending on MRD ( negative or positive ) decision tree will decide our direction for the remainder of the study. Did a little delving into T-Cell Therapy but at the time it looked to be for patients that have had more than one regimen of treatment. I did recently see an article from the City of Hope in Duarte California stating that they have developed a Phase 3 trial combining teclistamab with other drugs for use in newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patients who cannot receive or do not wish to undergo an autologous stem cell transplant as an initial treatment. Stay Strong, Keep the Faith, and may we soon all Scream Out Loud I AM CANCER FREE
No only less than 2 years.
I want to do a clinical trial. Trying to stay in fairly good shape so I can tolerate these treatments. There i's a list of current ones related to myeloma on the MMRF website
Call the cancer society yall
Thanks for letting me know. Wish it could have been much longer
