Has Anyone Healed Their Kidneys To The Point That They Could Stop Dialysis?

My father was diagnosed 1.5 years ago after experiencing total kidney failure. It is hard not to despair at how difficult it is to manage both. He is in remission, but it's been one thing after another with dialysis. Now he is suffering from recurring peritonitis and I just wanted to ask you all if anyone was in a similar position and was able to heal their kidneys? Thank you ❤️

I currently have Providence and they have been a huge pain in the arse! They have repeatedly denied coverage on medications that are and have been approved for many years. The biggest "kick in the teeth" is that they are refusing to pay for any any maint medication that isnt Revlamid.. Seems shady to me, What y'all think?

I was diagnosed dec 20 2023 my last treatment is December 23rd 2024 I'm doing well the myeloma attacked my spine and hip lesions was for i had surgery for both and do really well Dr is so impressed how fast I went into remission. But I worry it will come back to soon, I'm 66 years young and this is the 1st time I have ever been sick I've been healthy always but I'm over weight. I'm working on that as well.
