I did ask about Dara, my provider didn’t seem interested, because I have little mm. That’s the reason I want for second opinion

I’m in Orlando, Florida. I’m getting the treatment almost locally but I did go last Thursday to see doctor Baz at moffitt center in Tampa, Florida for second opinion.

Ask why you did not get the gold standard of care; the quad cocktail.

Revlimid
Dexamethasone
Velcade
Darzalex FasPro

I got 16 weeks of that and now my maintenance is everything except the Velcade.

You may need Daratumumab but it depends on what type MM you have.

But ask why you did not get the Dara. The cocktail is now known worldwide!

Dean,
My first 2 Oncologists were not MM Specialists. They had no clue. There are so many options for treatments, and they should know what they are. I’m sorry you were taking medicine that was not working for your type of MM. I hope you gets some answers soon from a Oncologist who specializes in MM.
