CAR-T cell therapy has shown promising results for many people with hard-to-treat multiple myeloma, even when other treatments have failed. According to the knowledge base:

- Effectiveness: In a study called KarMMa, 3 out of 4 people had fewer signs of cancer, and 1 out of 3 had a complete response (all signs of cancer were gone).
- Remission: 2 out of 3 were in remission for at least one year.

However, it's important to note that CAR-T cell therapy does not work for everyone, and cancer can sometimes return after treatment. Always discuss with your healthcare provider for personalized advice.

Join the crowd! That's a daily thing for me even though I'm not on chemo. BTW, I did have to get a few blood booster shots, blood and platelet transfusions, but only in the first month post CAR-T.
