I’m trying to decide which option of treatments to take. Either wholistic approach or Medicines? I’d love to hear from anyone who is having success with the wholistic approach?

Darlene, I'm feeling much better off sugar and processed carbs. I eat mostly lean meat and veggies. I do eat some dairy. Low fat plain Greek yogurt or low fat cottage cheese. 3 fruits daily. I eat the 35 calorie a slice bread, just 2 slices a day, and a few whole wheat crackers daily. Hoping to get some of the steriod weight off.

Cbd is awesome! It relaxes us, and we get good night sleep every night. Try it, it won’t hurt.

Even though I am on the standard MM treatment of triplets of carfilzomib, Revlimid and Dexamethasone, I have included the holistic approach by eating organic vegetables & fruits and meats with no hormones, wild caught fish; integrating the concept of yin and yang ☯️ by hosting a Wellness group, teaching meditation and simple qigong exercises as well as having an energy healer by my side from the very beginning of my MM diagnosis. I was in a clinical trial from February to October 2017; since my numbers were excellent at that time, I opted to stop all chemo treatments and all other medications. I feel that my approach of “food as medicine” contributed to helping my body heal and rejuvenate itself ..so, when the numbers ie K/L ratio increased to the level where It was highly recommended to begin the chemo (healing elixirs) in April 2019, I began the healing elixirs with hardly any side effects; the Dexamethasone does affect my sleep for a couple days and I do experience slight tremors in my hands. I have researched many holistic treatments and I have yet to find someone who is in full remission from this approach. Hope my comments are helpful to you. My background is that I’m a Feng Shui architectural consultant since 1991. I’ve been blessed to travel the world teaching FS and other holistic wellness practices. When I got diagnosed in 2017, I was focused on surviving - wearing a full body brace due to compressed fractures in my lower spine, dealing with a pressure ulcer on my back, and being in a wheelchair for nearly two years. Somehow I feel that my Feng Shui studies combined with my positive thoughts and attitude kept me alive. One of my FS colleagues called me and said that I was one of the chosen few who have the opportunity to “die and get reborn in the same lifetime” which will affect all my future teachings. Hopefully my response is informative and helpful. Sending lots of healing blessings to you.
