Hey Tuscany. Yes, I'm currently on Darzalex faspro and Pomalyst 2mg. I've been on this protocol since Oct 2017. I dropped the dex about 3 years ago. The Darzalex is a subcutaneous injection over 3 to 5 minutes in my belly fat. It has been a Godsend for me. Kyprolis did not work at all on my myeloma. Hoping you do well with minimal side effects. Is the Kyprolis working to get your number down?

Tuscany, cute name btw. The Darzalex is weekly for 8 weeks then biweekly. As you can see it takes awhile to get to monthly. I was scared at the beginning. I started out getting the IV version. The chance of a reaction is much greater with the IV. Subcutaneous is much safer. You will be premedicated with Tylenol, benadryl, an antihistamine, and a steroid and maybe Pepcid too. It's a big shot. I don't let them go in at an angle. I bruise. I have them go straight into my fat. They push it over 5 minutes hold pressure and put a 2 x2 and bandaid. The nurses are wonderful. I hope you do well and have a great response. It has been a Godsend for me 💕
