You honestly can't tell anything from one set of numbers. Doctors look at trends and CRAB features. That's why it's important to have a myeloma specialist 🥰

Interesting article but why would their be an increase in diagnosis and yet mortality rate be decreasing in females? Strange.

If you have become refractory to Revlimid, then the other IMIDS will probably not work. Depending upon your cytogenetics, you could use Venetoclax (t11,14) or go with a CAR-T. Make sure you are… read more

A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Baltimore, MD

I thought I saw proof posting that their FLC numbers went up if they had bloodwork during a cold/ vaccine. I’m due to have my mm bloodwork Monday and I’m finally getting over my cold. I’d there a chance my bloodwork could be off if they do it even if I’m not completely over the cold?

Cut it short, you will be unhappy if you let it fall out a little at a time.

Question Please; My GFR Blood Test Reads Low ( 55). Creatinine Is High ( 1.05 ).

A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Hollis AK

I would like to know what the '(CKD-EPI)', after the GFR means?
So my kidneys are trying to tell me something apparently and it could be many things, according to a search ( age, weight, activity etc ).
SO, should I be concerned? My blood tests from yesterday are just starting to be posted in my patient portal, so I don't know what the rest of the results are yet. I don't usually have a problem, kidney wise.

I usually don't wear shoes inside; just socks. But my shoes, like yours, I forget to take them off sometimes because they are so comfortable......I agree.
