Your immune system determines when the treatment stops working. Not the medicine. Protect your immune system. Eat whole plant food, no more oily McDonald’s food!

Relapse in multiple myeloma occurs when the cancer returns after a period of remission. Most people with multiple myeloma will experience multiple relapses. The exact reasons for relapse can vary, but it generally happens because the cancer cells that remain after initial treatment start to grow again.

Key points to consider:
- Cancer Cell Resistance: Some myeloma cells may become resistant to treatment over time.
- Incomplete Eradication: Initial treatments may not completely eliminate all cancer cells.
- Disease Progression: Myeloma is a chronic condition that tends to progress despite treatment.

Understanding these factors can help in preparing for future treatments and managing expectations.
