Has Anyone Experienced Reoccurring Shingles?

I let up my guard started drinking green tea coffee eating chocolate and currently after being taken off acylovir and dapsone I got two small shingle blisters so now back taking acyclovir not taking revlamide 5mg and keep applying alcohol to dry the blisters up also calamine lotion and anti fungal powder helps keep it dry
I noticed a lot of acid in my total body so took Pantoprazole and linzess and plain white yogurt helped too

My Specialist said I would be taking Acyclovir for the rest of my life (2x /day 400mg ea) as the vaccine is not reliable.

My doctor has me continuing on Acyclovir each day. He said it is more effective than the vaccine. Had shingles many years ago and do not want to repeat it.

I had a breakthrough with shingles and my oncologist put me back on Valcyclovir and 1000 mg a day for at least a year. I have had no side effects from it.
